SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed with regard to the high number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The assistance issue created for intervention experiences a higher influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out SRD programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to help the servicing of all customers and maximize usage of Social sassa status Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
